Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a valve which has highly advanced sealing ability and a little dimensional dispersion. SOLUTION: A combustion air suction system is equipped with an intake manifold for supplying air to an engine through a pair of suction runners different in length. A valve assembly 40 includes a composite cast housing 42 provided between the intake runner and the engine, and the housing has a pair of through pathes 62, 64 communicated with the runner being associated with the intake manifold. A valve supporting hole regulates an axis passing through the housing and bisects the through path. A valve member 84 having a valve shaft 86 passed through the valve supporting hole and a valve plate united with the valve shaft is unitedly cast in the housing. The valve member rotates in the valve supporting hole for controlling an air flow having passed through the through path.
