Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key storage device in which it is easy to find out where keys are stored at night and at the power failure and any one can take out keys at a disaster. SOLUTION: There are provided a solar cell array 1, a storage battery 3 which is electrified by means of the array 1, a solenoid 5 which is driven by the power of the battery 3 when an emergency push button 4 is depressed, and a lighting fixture 7 which is turned on by the power of the battery 3. And these are mounted to a casing B with a door and the door can be unlocked by means of the solenoid 5. And preferably, an alarm device which is actuated when the button 4 is depressed is provided.
