Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve breaking performance without enlarging a device by energizing it by spring force smaller than contact frictional force of contactors. SOLUTION: A fixed side arc contactor 21 is arranged so as to be movable in the contacting-separating direction. It is energized in the separating direction by force smaller than contact frictional force of the fixed side arc contactor 21 and a movable side arc contactor 26 by a spring member 24. Therefore, a contact part 23b and a contactor 26a of both arc contactors 21 and 26 move while being brought into contact with each other, and the spring member 24 is compressed to energy storage. When a movement advances, since a movement in a cylinder part 22 of the fixed side arc contactor 21 is regulated, in the contactor 23b and the contactor 26a, only the movable side arc contactor 26 to be opened moves in the arrow direction. That is, it moves in the separating direction, and relative opening speed of the fixed side arc contactor 21 and the movable side arc contactor 26 is increased, and rising speed of a withstand voltage value between both electrodes 25 and 30 also increases.
