Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the buckling strength and the restoring force when released from the load by covering at least one side of the paper of an outer container with the resin including a stretched resin film layer in a composite container where an inner container made of plastic is integrated with the outer container mainly made of paper. SOLUTION: In a composite container where an inner container 12 made of plastic is integrated with an outer container 11 mainly made of paper, the outer container 11 comprises a paper layer 11a and a polyethylene layer 11b. A single film made of polyolefine resin such as polyethylene resin and polypropylene resin and barrier resin such as polyethylene-terephthalate, or composite film made thereof is laminated outside the paper layer 11a as necessary. The solution type adhesive and the hot-melt type adhesive is used for an adhesive layer 13 to bond the outer container 11 with the inner container 12, and the adhesive resin can be extruded and laminated on the base paper in place of the polyethylene layer 11b.
