Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is reduced in the number of parts for a cover member, etc., so as to reduce the cost, simplified in assembling work and excellent in assemblability by supporting a doctor holder constituted in such a manner that a cover for covering a carrying path and a holding part for keeping the interval between a developing sleeve and a doctor are integrally molded with the rotary shaft of the developing sleeve. SOLUTION: The developing sleeve 2 incorporates a magnet fixed on the rotary shaft 2a and is structured so that the sleeve 2 is rotated relative to the magnet. The developing sleeve 2 is constituted so that it is rotated in the direction of an arrow B, to regulate the supply of a developer D carried on the outer periphery by the doctor 3 and carry the developer D to a developing region (d) formed between the sleeve 2 and an electrostatic latent image carrier 1. At this time, in the doctor holder 6, a cover part 4 for covering the carrying path for carrying the developer D from the doctor 3 to the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 and the holding part 5 for keeping the fixed interval between the sleeve 2 and the doctor 3 are integrally molded and the through-hole of the doctor holder 6 is supported by the rotary shaft 2a of the sleeve 2.
