Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted piezoelectric filter having a structure in which guaranteed attenuating amounts can be made larger than a conventional one. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric filter elements is supported by a surface-mounted package main body 21 at a peripheral part, so that input and output vibrating electrode pair 11 and 12 can face the package main body 21 side, and a shield electrode 30 with a ground potential extended along a gap G between the input, and output vibrating electrode pair 11 and 12 is formed at the package main body 21 in a state with a prescribed interval T provided with respect to a piezoelectric substrate 10. The shield electrode 30 is formed along the gap G, and since it does not face the input and output vibrating electrode pair 11 and 12 with a wide area a floating capacity cannot be generated between the input and output vibrating electrode pair 11 and 12. Also, even when the shield electrode 30 is placed very close to the piezoelectric substrate 10, an interrupting capability of electromagnetic connection between the input and output vibrating electrode pair 11 and 12 is not deteriorated.
