Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cable holding implement by which a cable can be held and fixed to the surface of a peripheral apparatus or the like simply and surely by a method wherein a stopper member by which a belt-shaped body used to hold the cable can be coupled and removed is installed on a base member in which a permanent magnet is fixed and installed inside a bottom recessed part. SOLUTION: In a base member 1, a synthetic resin pedestal 4 is fixed and installed, via a pressure-sensitive double-coated tape 7, on a box body 2 made of a metal plate. In addition, a belt-shaped body 5 is installed in such a way that a part which is extended to the tip side so as to pass a mounting hole 4b in the pedestal 4 can be coupled so as to be inserted into, and passed through, a slit 8a in a stopper member 8. When a cable 9 is held and fixed by a holding implement, the cable 9 is situated on the pedestal 4 at the base member 1, the tip part of the belt-shaped body 5 is inserted into, and passed through, the slit 8a in the stopper member 8 so as to be pulled, and a cable insertion and passage hole A is narrowed. Then, by making use of the magnetic attraction force of a permanent magnet 3, the bottom face side of the base member 1 is attracted to the arbitrary surface of a peripheral apparatus.
