Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce torsion of a bottom plate of a frame of the FDD to be generated in the case of screw-fitting of the frame into a holder by calking and assembling a rotor bearing directly into the frame. SOLUTION: A Hall sensor 6a is bonded and fixed to a Hall sensor positioning recess 26 of the frame 2a. Then, the rotor bearing 51a fitted with a rotor bearing front end member 57a by calking is fitted into a rotor bearing fitting hole part 27 by calking. Moreover, the rotor bearing 51a is fitted with a rotor, and a stator is fitted to the frame 2a. Furthermore, other components of the FDD are fitted to the frame 2a, and an upper cover and a lower cover are fitted. At this point, since notched holes 23 are arranged in line symmetry to an axial line from the center of the rotor bearing 51a, the torsion is absorbed, and hence the rotor bearing 51a mounted on the bottom plate of the frame 2a is never tilted.
