Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish soil modification so as to make the soil fertile through increasing the dissolved oxygen level of the soil and enable continuous cropping, by sprinkling the soil with such water as to be magnetizedly activated by passing through a magnetic water treatment unit to activate the microorganisms in the soil. SOLUTION: Soil is modified by activating the microorganisms in the soil through sprinkling the soil 16 with such water as to be magnetically activated by passing through a magnetic water treatment unit 5. It is preferable, for example, to accomplish this soil modification process by using a soil modification system made up of a pump 2 to suck water from a water reservoir 1 and deliver the water, a blower 4 to aerate the water delivered from the pump 2, the magnetic water treatment unit 5 to pass the aerated water therethrough so as to magnetically activate it, and a means 8 to sprinkle the soil 16 such as the (paddy) field with the water delivered from the treatment unit 5. |
