Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and attractive joint as compared with the conventional joint whose size is only slightly larger than H shape steel and in which it is unsightly to project bolts and nuts. SOLUTION: A positioning rod 16 is inserted in a cylinder 11. An H shape steel 5 is inserted from left, and next wedges 12... are driven. Thereby flanges 6, 6 are pressed with an outside face 11b or an inside face 11C as shown by an arrow. In addition, the flanges 6, 6 of the H shape steel are also inserted from right, and the wedges 12... are driven. The heads of the wedges 12... can be almost sunken in a face plate by fully driving an H shape steel joint 10 and the left and right H shape steels 5, 5 completing attaching (the edge of the wedge 12 and the outer face of the face plate 11a are nearly matched). Thus, since the H shape steel 10 is larger only by plate thickness of the face plates 11a, 11a and side plates 11b, 11c from the H shape steels 5, 5, it is compact and attractive as compared with the conventional joint in which it is unsightly to project bolts and nuts.
