Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition exhibiting high bleaching performance in any of hydrophobic stain and hydrophilic stain by compounding a specific bleaching activating agent, etc., in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This bleaching and deterging composition comprises (A) 0.5-90wt.% inorganic peroxide generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution, (B) 0.1-30wt.% surfactant, (C) 0.05 20wt.% one or two or more kinds of bleaching activating agent represented by formula I [R is a 1-19C alkyl, alkenyl or a (substituted)aryl; M is H or an organic or inorganic cation; (n) is 2-10] and (D) 0.05-20wt.% bleaching activating agent represented by formula II (R is same as R ), in the compounding weight ratio of the components C/D of (1/100) to (100/1) and the compounding weight ratio of the components (C+D)/ the component A of (1/1) to (1/100). Furthermore, the component A is preferably sodium percarbonate or sodium perborate.
