Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cancer metastasis suppressing agent for oral administration having low side action and administrable over a long period by using one or two substances selected from specific lactoferrin derivatives as an active component. SOLUTION: This agent contains one or two substances selected from nonferrous saturated lactoferrins, hydrolyzed lactoferrins, pharmaceutically permissible derivative of the hydrolyzate, salt of the hydrolyzate, peptide originated from the hydrolyzate of lactoferrin, pharmaceutically permissible derivative of the peptide and salt of the peptide. The nonferrous saturated lactoferrin, hydrolyzed lactoferrin, its derivative or a salt of the hydrolyzate among the above active components are preferably administered at a daily rate of 3-3,200mg/kg-body weight. The other active components consisting of the peptide are preferably administered at a daily rate of 0.2-320mg/kg-body weight. The peptide preferably has an amino acid sequence of the formula.
