Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To gradually increase the volume of a rain water guiding groove formed extending from both end parts of an upper molding to side part moldings. SOLUTION: This wind molding for automobile is formed into a sectional form provided with a leg part 26 inserted into the gap between a front window glass and a window frame part of a body, a glass regulating piece 30 extended from the leg part 26 and contacted with the upper face of the peripheral edge of the glass, and a decorative head part 27 combined with the upper end of the leg part 26 through a support part 28. In an upper molding 22 arranged on the upper side part of the glass, the support part 28 is made short and the decorative head part 27 is joined with the glass regulating piece 30. In a side molding 23 arranged on the side part of the glass, the support part 28 is made long and a rain water guiding groove 37 is formed between the decorative head part 27 and the glass regulating piece 30. Extending from both end parts of the upper molding 22 to the side moldings 23, the length of the support part 28 becomes long gradually, and the angle formed by the decorative head part 27 and the glass regulating piece 30 is formed so as to be gradually enlarged.
