Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay heat storage bodies so as to cover the whole surface of a support member even if a heat storage type preheater is tilted by inclining the support member for holding the heat storage bodies and arranging a projecting weir in a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: In a heat storage part 16, the support member 40 for holding the heat storage bodies 22, is arranged by inclining so as to become almost the same angle as the angle of repose of the heat storage bodies 22 to the horizontal direction. The projecting weir 60 projecting as rectangular shape is arranged on the inner wall of a combustion chamber 14 near the heat storage part 16. At the time of tilting this heat storage type preheater 12 from the normal position, while holding the angle of repose on the upper layer surface of the heat storage part 16 during tilting, the heat storage bodies 22 are shifted in the rolling state. This shifting is dammed up with the projecting weir 60 over some tilting angle, and in the tilting position at about 90 deg. from the normal position, the upper layer surface 42 of the heat storage bodies 22 are laid in the condition of forming the angle of repose so that the heat storage bodies 22 cover the whole surface of the support member 40. By this method, the support member 40 prevents this damage, by which radiation heat from the inner wall of the combustion chamber 14 is directly received. |
