PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively enhance a metabolizing function of a human body by imparting a far infrared ray effect enhanced in absorptance and emissivity of a far infrared ray energy in a cluster water capable of improving the metabolizing function of the human body by being drunk. SOLUTION: A water low in cluster, having the cluster of (H2 O) 5-8 preferably and having the far infrared ray effect is prepared. When the far infrared rays are radiated, a specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are improved and the water is liable to be absorbed when the water is taken in the human body and the metabolizing function in the human body is enhanced since a number of vibration of the water is changed into the vibration of the wavelength of the far infrared ray and a water molecule is resonated and the water becomes to a state in which the far infrared rays are efficiently absorbed and converted to heat. Such water is produced by immersing a ceramic very high in far infrared rays emissivity in the water in a weight ratio of >=10% based on a water weight, putting an electrode connected with an earth of the first kind in the water and leaving it to stand for a fixed time in this state.
