Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrifying member which shows a high adhesion strength between an electrifying member and a coating layer and die not cause a deterioration due to spent of a toner by forming a coating layer containing a specified polymer compd. SOLUTION: This electrostatic charge image developing electrifying member is composed of a core material and a coating layer which coats the core material. The coating material consists of a polymer compd. containing monomers expressed by formula I or II, monomers expressed by formula III or IV and a coupling agent having vinyl groups. In formulae, A is -(CH2 )n1 -NR R , B is -(CH2 )n2 -NR R , A, represents, for example, formula V, B' is a fluorine atom or represents, for example, formula VI, and R , R , R , R are hydrogen atoms or methyl groups, R , R , R , R6 are alkyl groups or aryl groups, n3, n4 are integers 0 to 8, (m) is an integer 1 to 10, and (Z) is an oxygen atom, carbonyl group, or acid amide group. |
