Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable message transmitter (portable terminal equipment calling device) in which a portable reception exclusive terminal equipment is called with a simple method. SOLUTION: A control section discriminates whether or not there are other characters than PB characters (numerals of 0-9 and specific symbols of *, #) in a message text (S1), and when only the PB characters are in existence, a symbol # or ## is added to an end of the character string (S10) to convert the character string into a PB signal tone (S11), and the tone is sounded to a transmission port, by which dialing is made (S12). When there are other characters than the PB characters, the presence of a routine message is discriminated (S2) and when in existence, a routine message code is added (S3) and the message is converted into a number code (S4). Moreover, the presence of PB characters in n-digit (n=2) or over is discriminated (S5), and when in existence, other characters than the PB characters are extracted (S6), a free word start code is added (S7), the characters are converted into a free word code (S8), and a free word termination code is added (S9) and processing in the steps S10, S11 is conducted. |
