Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detecting method in a pot capable of mechanically and precisely detecting a liquid level detection in the pot without assuming it with experience in a thermal dissolving furnace. SOLUTION: In a method for detecting a liquid level of a thermal dissolving pot 2 for thermally dissolving organic substance and recollecting oil, a rotary vane for liquid level detection is installed in the thermal dissolving pot, a change 5 in a shaft torque generated when the liquid level touches the vane is detected, and the liquid level is detected. A rotary vane 6 for the liquid level detection is driven by an air motor 4, an air 11 is supplied so as to make the driving air pressure constant, the change in the shaft torque of the air motor 4 is preferably detected as a change in the number of shaft rotations, the rotary vanes for liquid level detection are preferably installed at two stages 6-1 and 6-2 at the upper and lower limits of the control range, in the case of which the rotary vanes at the two stages are provided in close to each other, and the rotational direction of each vane is preferably reversed. |
