Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a system with a simple operation by detecting the shift of a state from standing-by to viewership and staring resetting and down-loading to a necessary device when abnormality occurs in a micro code due to static electricity and reception becomes impossible. SOLUTION: A power switch signal from a power switch 1010 is inputted to a micro computer 180 through first and third OR devices 1020 and 1110. The micro computer 180 switches a standby/viewership restriction signal from a viewership state to a standby state. At this point, a state shift detection device 5000 does not output a pulse signal. When the power key of the remote controller is depressed, the micro computer 180 switches the standby/viewership restriction signal from the standing-by state to the viewership state and a program can be viewed. Abnormality occurs in the micro code due to static electricity, reception becomes impossible and a power source operation is executed. The state shift detection device 5000 detects the shift of the state from standing-by to viewership, generates a pulse signal and starts resetting and down loading to the necessary device. Thus, the device can be recovered with the simple operation.
