Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make handling of a water-proof switch easy at the time of assembling the switch and provide excellent water-proofness by providing a unitedly formed cover for covering the switch and constituted of a base part made of a hard resin and a water-proof cap part covering the base part and made of an elastic resin. SOLUTION: A cover to cover an open part of a case 1 comprised a base part 12 for covering the case 1 and a projected part of a fixed contact 3 and made of a hard resin and a water-proof cap part 13 for wrapping the whole circumference of the base part 12 and the operation part 5A of the operation shaft 5 and made of an elastic resin and these parts are unitedly formed. Screw insertion holes are respectively formed in the base part 12 and the water-proof cap part 13 and by screwing screws 10, the back sides of head parts of the screws 10 push the circumferential parts of the insertion holes of the water-proof cap part 13 made of elastic resin, so that water penetration through the insertion holes is prevented. In this way, the cover 11 comprising the unitedly formed base part 12 and waterproof cap part 13 is so constituted as to cover a switch.
