Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated material for a paper container, which is excellent in design, and abrasion and bending resistances, by a method wherein the laminated material includes a paper base layer and a heat-bonding resin layer formed on the innermost layer, a polyethylene resin layer is laminated on the outside of the paper base layer, and a top patterned layer is formed on the polyethylene resin layer by transfer process. SOLUTION: A laminated material includes a top patterned layer 1, a polyethylene resin layer 2, a paper base layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, a gas barrier layer 5 and a heat-bonding resin layer 6 that are laminated on top of each other in the oder from the surface. The top patterned layer 1 comprises a protective layer 1a, a pattered layer 1b and an adhesive layer 1c and is formed on the surface of the polyethylene resin layer 2 by a transfer printing process in which after the polyethylene layer 2 is formed by melt-extrusion process and the paper base layer 3 and a transfer sheet are laminated on both sides of the polyethylene layer 2, a transfer sheet substrate is peeled off. When a gable top type paper container is formed of the laminated material described above, a blank sheet is punched out into a shape including cylindrical body, head and bottom forming parts.
