Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly develop an air bag in an expected developing mode by providing a sewn part to be broken by developing output of the air bag at least on a part of a seat cover for an automobile to cover a seat with the air bag built in it. SOLUTION: When an air bag is developed by impact of collision, etc., a sewing thread 18 of a sewn part of a side surface part 12 to cover a side surface of a seat at a developing portion of this air bag and a front surface part 11 to sew a peripheral edge of this side surface part 12 is broken, the side surface part 12 of a seat cover 10 is cut open and the air bag is developed in an expected developing mode. Additionally, the sewn part of the side surface part 12 and the front surface part 11 to be broken by developing output of the air bag of the seat cover 10 is adjusted in seams within a range of a seaming pitch of 9-20 stitches/3cm so as to be broken by the developing output of the air bag rather than other parts, and consequently, the side surface part 12 to be the developing portion of the air bag of the seat cover 10 is certainly cut open from the front surface part 11.
