Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a hydrodynamic torque converter compact in the axial direction by assembling a torque feeler in a space between a turbine runner and a first housing shell on an input side of a housing on an inner side of a lock-up clutch in the radial direction. SOLUTION: A lock-up clutch 15 is arranged in an inner chamber 14 by housing shells 4, 5, an annular member 32 is fixed on a turbine runner 10 side of an annular piston 17, and the annular member 32 has a flange 33 provided with an inner tooth row 34. An outer tooth row 35 of an outer fringe part of an annular member 36 meshes with the inner tooth row 36, and an inner fringe part of the annular member 36 has a flange 37. The annular member 36 is formed in such a manner that it, is extended on a side of the housing shell 5 through a diagonal scope 39, and a scope 40 in the radial direction which has the flange 37 on an end part side follows the diagonal scope 39. An annular member 42 is formed like steps on a side facing the housing shell 4 of the scope 40. A torque feeler 41 is assembled in a space between the housing shell 4 and the turbine runner 10 according to the above configuration.
