Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for an effect based on torsional vibration by correcting a signal which represents the specific position of a shaft separately depending on operational characteristics amount and/or for each cylinder when the control amount of an internal combustion engine is set based on a signal which represents the specific position of the shaft. SOLUTION: While an internal combustion engine is running, the controller 130 inputs respective output signals of an inductive transmitter 120 for sensing the teeth of a starter ring gear, an accelerator pedal transmitter 225, and a transmitter 230 which transmits a reference pulse R or a signal OT which indicates the top dead center of a cylinder. A rotational speed signal N, a driver's intention signal FP, and the output signal at a correction stage 235 are processed at the injection control part 215 of the controller 130, and the control signal of an injection period and injection quantity are outputted into a fuel pump 140. The correction stage 235 conducts correction for the top dead center according to a correction value which is read out from the reference pulse R and a characteristics map 240, and supplies the corrected value to the injection control part 215.
