Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rolling bearing which disperses a load to support it and which is excellent in the restoration and costless. SOLUTION: In this base isolation device, a support plate 3 supporting an architectural structure S on a receive plate 1 laid in the foundation side, is put to be freely transferable in the horizontal direction. In this case, the upper face of the receive plate 1 and the lower face of the support plate 3 are formed to have a conical recess respectively and a plurality of steel balls 5b are arranged between these faces while mutually keeping a distance through a ball holder 5a and the receive plate 1 and the support plate 3 are assembled to form a rolling bearing.
