Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the selection of material quality of a holding plate and bearing plate by arranging a plurality of steel balls between holding plate and bearing plate to disperse load of a structure with a large number of steel balls. SOLUTION: A holding plate 1 is so constituted that a ring-shaped groove thread is provided to the upper part side thereof to form an upper surface 1a and that a ring-shaped ball bearing 5 is easily set. The bearing plate 3 is fixed to a structure S through a middle plate 4, and a lower surface 3a opposed to the holding plate 1 is horizontally and flatly formed. As the ball bearing 5, marketable goods can be used, a plurality of steel balls 5b, 5b... are arranged between the upper surface 1a of the holding plate 1 and the lower surface 3a of the bearing plate 3 while keeping specific intervals on a circular ring- shaped ball holder 5a, and the holding plate 1 and bearing plate 3 are combined with each other in a state of roller bearing. A vibration isolation device having such construction can bear the load of the structure S with a large number of steel balls, so that the material quantity selection of both holding plate 1 and bearing plate 3 can be easily made because the load is not concentrated in one point of the holding plate 1 and bearing plate 3.
