Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject tilling apparatus having simplified structure, suppressing the scattering of soil to the back and capable of scraping up the soil at the front side and filling the tilled hole such as a groove at a tilling end part by providing the apparatus with an actuator for depressing a leveling tool when the apparatus is lifted relative to the machine body. SOLUTION: A leveling tool 5 for leveling the soil tilled by a tiller 4 is placed at the back of a rotary tiller 4 connected through a connection link 3 which is vertically movable with a lift arm 2 of a tractor body 1. The leveling tool 5 is depressed with an actuator 6 when the tiller 4 is lifted relative to the machine body 1. Preferably, a rear cover 25 is used as the leveling tool 5 and the top link 8 connecting a bracket 9 and a hitch link 17 is used as the actuator 6 composed of an extensible cylinder having controllable length to vertically adjust the working position of the leveling tool 5 relative to the tilled soil surface.
