Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of easily reacting with a polyisocyanate to form a coating film excellent in water repellency, mold releasability, etc., by reacting a polyurethane resin derivative having polydimethylsiloxane side chains and isocyanate groups with a hydroxyl group- containing resin. SOLUTION: (A) A polyurethane resin derivative having dimethylsiloxane side chains and isocyanate groups on a polyurethane molecular main chain is reacted with (B) a hydroxyl group-containing resin (e.g. an acrylic polyol) to obtain the objective composition. The polyurethane resin derivative A is obtained by reacting (i) a polydimethylsiloxane of formula I [(R is a 1-4C alkyl; R is ethylene, etc.; R is H, etc.; R is hydroxyl, etc.; (n) is 0-100; (p) is 0-100; (m) is 2-9] with (ii) a polyisocyanate of formula II [Et is ethyl; R is (CH2 )6 , etc.) as essential components. |
