Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device by which an obstacle by an ozone product and an obstacle by faulty electrification, etc. do not occur, which has a simple constitution and whose the cost is low by improving the problem of a contact shortage between a body to be electrified and an electrifying member to improve uniformity in electrification and to realize stable directly injecting electrification more excellent in the uniformity in the electrification over a long time regardless of the performance of a compact electrifying member, that is, to realize the ozoneless directly injecting electrification with a low applied voltage and a simple constitution in a contact electrifying device. SOLUTION: As to this electrifying device electrifying the surface of a body to be electrified by a flexible electrifying member 2 forming a nip part (n) and the body 1 to be electrified in the case that a voltage is applied, the surface of the electrifying member moves with respect to the surface of the body to be electrified while having a speed difference so that the body to be electrified is electrified in a state where conductive electrification accelerating particles (m) exist >=10 /mm on at lest the nip part (n) between the member 2 and the body 1.
