Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the projection of a cable core from the end of a cable by burying at least one contraction resistant body in a plastic coating of a cable main body which is intermittently bonded with a supporting wire in the length direction so as to have extra length longer than the supporting wire. SOLUTION: An optical fiber stacked body 1 is housed in a spiral groove of a plastic spacer 3 containing a tensile strength body 2, a plastic coating 5 in which a contraction resistant body 9 is buried is extrusion-covered on the outside of a cable core on which an upper winding 4 is performed to form a cable main body. The contraction resistant body 9 is preferably made of a plurality of steel wires or stainless steel wires, arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the plastic cover 5, or may be constructed with a metal pipe capable of housing optical fibers on the inside. A plastic coating 7 of a supporting wire 6 has a joining part 8 with the cable main body. By the contraction resistant body 9, the plastic coating 5 resists contraction force caused by relaxation of elongation and distortion to regulate the contraction.
