Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carriers and the developer with excellent environmental stability, and the method and a device for image forming capable of obtaining an excellent solid image while preventing from causing the image defect. SOLUTION: The carrier for this developer, on a core material, is provided with a coating resin layer made with conductive powder in a needle shape or a fiber shape contained therein, and dynamic electric resistance is below 1 Ω.cm under an electric field of 10 V/cm when the core material is in a state of the magnetic brush, and the electric resistance of the coating resin layer in the range of 10 to 1×10 Ω.cm. Then, the image forming method consists in adopting the above electrostatic latent image developer, that is the developing process, the developing curve is expressed by contrast potential and developing toner quantity, developing bias is applied on the developer carrier so that the developing toner quantity shows saturation property. |
