Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure measurement and easy removal even at complicated placed between a pressure vessel and a shroud, e.g. and almost accurate measurement of both dosage equivalent rages of the pressure vessel and the shroud, regardless of a great difference in thickness therebetween. SOLUTION: One fiber scope 21 arranged inside a shroud 8 and the other fiber scope 23 arranged at a middle between the shroud 8 and the outer wall of a pressure vessel 1 are used for detection, allowing a radioactivity measuring equipment 25 to find individual dosage equivalent rates of the pressure vessel 1 and the shroud 8 at desired places. When the removed shroud 8 is packed in a container, the shroud 8 may, therefore, be shielded in matching to its dosage equivalent rate, resulting in no excessive shielding required. The fiber scopes 21, 23 are formed in long shape to detect radiation at any place in the longitudinal direction so that radiation can be continuously detected and easily measured through the lengths of the fiber scopes 21, 23 and the fiber scopes 21, 23 can be surely inserted or removed at complicated places between the outer wall of the pressure vessel and the shroud 8.
