Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat cleaning device capable of efficiently cleaning a small quantity of mat and easily removing the sand entering the depth of the pile texture of the mat without damaging the pile texture. SOLUTION: A mat cleaning device is provided with a preliminary cleaning section 4 inverting a mat 2 and dropping the dust and sand stuck on the surface of the mat 2 in the line 3 continuously conveying the mat 2, a cleaning solvent infiltration section 6 immersing the mat 2 in a foaming cleaning solvent on the downstream side of the preliminary cleaning section 4, the primary cleaning section 7 rubbing the mat 2 with a soft brush 31 while spraying the foaming cleaning solvent to the mat 2 on the downstream side of the cleaning solvent infiltration section 6, the secondary cleaning section 8 spraying a jet stream mixed with bubbles to the mat 2 on the downstream side of the primary cleaning section 7, an inversion section 49 inverting the mat 2 to direct the surface of the mat 2 downward on the downstream side of the secondary cleaning section 8, and a sand drop section 13 having a vibrator 52 vibrating the mat 2 on the downstream side of the inversion section 49.
