Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash processing system which improves the precision of a mechanical operation at the time of connecting a carrier to an ATM (automatic teller machine) and improves the reliability of a bank note carrying operation at the time of delivering bank notes between the carrier and an ATM which collects or replenishes cash (bank note) in a cash accommodation operation. SOLUTION: A carrier 4 moves based on an instruction from a carrier controller 3, and when it stops at a prescribed position that is connectable with a selected automatic teller machine 10a to 10n, it compares a measuring means which measures the movement amount from the edge plane of the automatic teller machine to the stop position, the movement amount that is measured by the measuring means with a position correction amount in a running direction which is preliminarily defined to the selected automatic teller machine and detects abnormality of a running system mechanism part.
