Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a warming up operation possible in a short time by providing a plurality of heaters along the circumference of a main shaft in a pillow block. SOLUTION: A single layer bearing is used as a bearing and arranged on the outer periphery of a main shaft 2, and the main shaft 2 is rotatably supported through the bearing by a pillow block 7. A plurality of slots where a cartridge heater 8 can be inserted from a motor side is formed axially around the bearing in the pillow block 7. A plurality of cartridge heaters 8 are provided along the circumference of the main shaft 2 and connected to a heater power source. The cartridge heater 8 is actuated at the same time as a system power source is closed, and the bearing arrives at a saturated temperature, for instance 54 deg.C, in a short time of about 15 minutes after closing. In addition, the system is controlled so that the saturated temperature may be maintained during warming up and testing after warming up. Thus the warming up can be ended in a short time. |
