Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responding property of the fuel in a main during the transition period, average the air-fuel ratio in any operating condition, and improve the performance by discharging vapor in high temperature. SOLUTION: The downstream of an inner venturi 18 on an intake passage 12 and a main well 24 are connected by a connecting passage 34, and a jet 36 is provided on the connecting passage 34. During idling or under a light load, the air is introduced into the main well 24 from the intake passage 12 via the jet 36. During the period of transition from low speed to high speed or when a large load or a choke is being applied, the fuel is discharged into the intake passage 12 from the main well 24 via the jet 36. Further, the vapor generated in the main well 24 when the temperature is high, is discharged into the intake passage 12 via the jet 36.
