Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground-observing apparatus which achieves an observation of the condition of a ground by measuring a signal data of a sensor in real time, without leading a cable or the like connected to a sensor having a bar-shaped body driven into the ground out to the surface side of the ground and moreover, observing the condition of the ground without disturbing an excavation work, free from any failure even at a location under the excavation work thereof. SOLUTION: When a cable bolt (bar-shaped body) 1 with an axial force sensor 3 mounted thereof is driven into a ground A, to observe the condition of the ground A, an antenna wire 5 is led out to the surface side of a ground from the tip part of the cable bolt 1, whole a measuring unit 2 is proceeded at the tip part of the cable bolt 1, to collect a signal data of the axial force sensor 3. The measuring unit 2 transmits a signal data collected to the surface side of the ground by a radio wave through the antenna wire 5. The transmitted signal data is received by a body-measuring device 6 through an antenna 8 on the surface side of the ground, to observe the condition of the ground A based on the signal data.
