Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful consumption of power at a trigger pulse generation circuit and decrease power consumption when a CPU accesses in a microcomputer having the trigger pulse generation circuit which detects a change of an address signal and outputs a trigger pulse. SOLUTION: The microcomputer has a selector circuit 14 and an AND circuit 13. Based on a control signal SEL output from a CPU 15, the selector circuit 14 selects and outputs either one of a trigger pulse output from a trigger pulse generation circuit 17 and a pulse signal MACC output from the CPU 15. The AND circuit 13 controls inputting of an address signal A to the trigger pulse generation circuit 17 on the basis of the control signal SEL. When an output of the selector circuit 14 is the pulse signal MACC output from the CPU 15, the AND circuit 13 hinders the address signal A from being input. If the output from the selector circuit 14 is the trigger pulse output from the trigger pulse generation circuit 17, the AND circuit 13 permits the address signal A to be input.
