Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area-type X-ray detector by which a ghost image caused by the previous scan of a photodiode is reduced and which can optimize the acquisition of an image. SOLUTION: A large-area-type X-ray detector 12 adopts may photodiodes 36 which are changed electrically and which are discharge by irradiation with X-rays. A ghost image caused by the emission of an electric charge captured by the photodiodes 36 during a previous irradiation operation is removed by adjusting a bias in the resetting part of an imaging cycle. The bias may be increased so as to reduce a recharging time, or a polarity may be reversed in such a way that the photodiodes are discharged evenly, or the recharging time is reduced so as to preserve an offset. As a result, the ghost image is removed from succeeding image by an image processing operation.
