PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an anti-aberrant crypt foci agent effective for preventing the change in function of a colic cell caused by various factors, retaining the function of a normal cell by making lactoferrin separated from milk as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This agent is obtained by containing lactoferrin as an active ingredient and prepared by the conventional method as preparation for oral administration such as a sugar coated tablet, a tablet, a capsule, etc., an enteral administration by formulating in a nutrient preparation, foods such as a drink jelly and a feed. The daily dose is 3-3200mg/kg. The anti-aberrant crypt foci agent has small side effects, free from affection on human body even in long term administration, capable of effectively and extremely suppressing aberrant crypt foci as the lesion accompanied by a large bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease.
