Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment driving system adaptable to a connecting equipment having a new function. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a rewritable nonvolatile memory, in which such storage control information as program and data is loaded, a function control means performing the function control of the equipment based on the storage information of the memory, a correcting means correcting the storage contents of the memory, and a means for connecting with an external equipment; and the correcting means writes the storage control information incorporated in the external equipment on the nonvolatile memory and corrects the storage contents (ST14 to ST18) when the external equipment is connected to the connecting means.
