Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having a freshness holder including a humidity control function to a suitable humidity by not only absorbing and oxidation decomposing ethylene gas and foreign odor generated in a container of a representative of a vegetable chamber for containing vegetable and fruit but also absorbing and dissipating moisture in the container. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a freshness maintaining unit 26 having a filter 23 with a humidity control function and added with catalyst for adsorbing and oxidation decomposing ethylene gas and foreign odor in a vegetable chamber and a component including moisture absorbing and dissipating operations such as B-type silica gel in a recess 22 formed at the rear of a vegetable container 16. In this case, vegetable and the like can be freshly stored. A vent hole opened at a filter cover 24 is designed with vegetable and fruit to visually emphasize a satisfactory commodity image and freshness. |
