Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling property by mounting a baffle having substantially the same length as the cylindrical length of a body part within the cloths drying body part of a cylindrical drum, and screwing the front or rear plate of the drum to the side end surface of the baffle, thereby fixing the front plate or rear plate to the body part. SOLUTION: The drum of a clothes drier has a cylindrical body part 20, and a substantially disc-shaped front plate 30 and rear plate 40, and a baffle 21 is mounted on the inside wall of the body part 20. The baffle 21 has bosses 22 in prescribed three positions in the hollow part, and side bosses 23 for screwing from sideways are formed on both ends of the baffle 21. In assembling of the drum, the front plate 30 is positioned so that the recessed surface position is conformed to the baffle 21 fixed to the body part 20, a screw 36 is inserted from the screw hole of the front plate 30 to the side boss 23 and screwed to fix the front plate 30 to the body part 20, and a screw 24 inserted to the screw hole of the body part 20 is screwed to the boss 22 of the baffle 21 to fix the baffle 21 to the inside of the body part 20.
