Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation of an autodial function by using a control character to temporarily stop the transmission of data when this data is registered and also interrupting the transmission of data if the control character is detected in a data transmission mode. SOLUTION: A control code I is registered between data as a delimiter of the subscriber number data, so that both data are registered as a single piece of data. When this data is transmitted by means of an auto-dial function, the data is previously selected and a switch 6 is pushed. The code I is detected when the output of a subscriber number is finished, and the transmission of the relevant data is temporarily stopped. At the same time, the guidance is shot at a display part 13 to show the temporary stop of the data transmission. Thus, the switch 6 is pushed for transmission of the message data after the correct transmission of the subscriber number is confirmed. Therefore, the auto-dial function does not need any operation to select and transmit the data.
