Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a gap (void) between a boundary and an editing area without increasing memory capacity by referring to the editing area signal of a peripheral picture element and picture data before thinning is executed and executing an interpolation processing on the editing area signal outputted from a memory. SOLUTION: A thinning processing part 301 thins marker signals for four picture elements × picture elements for four lines and stores K data before compression is stored in a data storage part 308. A first data conversion part 302 converts the output of the thinning processing part 301 and it is stored in the memory 303. It is read by IC for area extension 305 and a signal shown by a marker is extended to the boundary. When the processing terminates, a second data conversion part 306 reads data from the memory 303, executes the conversion processing inverse to that of the data conversion part 302 and outputs data to an interpolation processing part 307. The data storage part 308 outputs K data to the interpolation processing part 307 in synchronizing with the area signal outputted from the data conversion part 302, refers to both data and outputs a signal as an editing area signal. |
