Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-floor structure which increases the containing capacity for cables and pipes and also improves walking feeling and facilitate maintenance works, by forming grooves containing cables by opening the gap between islands arranged by combination of a plurality of square panels with level differences between adjacent sides and putting groove covers bridging respective level differences on the grooves. SOLUTION: Square panels 1 provided with level differences at two sides are arranged at every four panels as one set so as to position the level differences at the peripheral sides to form one island 3. A specified distance is opened between respective islands 3 to form a groove 8 containing cables and pipes. And groove covers 4, 5 are installed to bridge level differences in the grooves 8. The groove covers 4, 5 are designed by taking the length and width of the groove 8, the level difference, the workability, and prevention of pray of the groove cover, into consideration but only two kinds of a groove cover 4 at the crossing of the grooves 8 and another groove cover 5 at the straight part of the grooves 8 are made. The length of the groove cover 5 at the straight part is about 1/2 of the panel side. The groove cover 4 at the crossing of the groove 8 has a size to fit to the notched part to the inside of the level difference of the panel 1.
