Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify solid matter contained in liquid into coarse solid matter and fine solid matter to recover them by one device. SOLUTION: While a cylindrical net body 2 and a rotary cylindrical body 5 connected to the front end of the cylindrical net body 2 are rotated as one body, water to be treated is fed into the cylindrical net body 2 through the rotary cylindrical body 5, and coarse solid matter is filtered out in the cylindrical net body 4 and is sent backward by an inside spiral ribbon 4 and is discharged to the outside from the rear end of the cylindrical net body 2 through a receiving plate 8 to recover it, and filtrate containing fine solid matter is received by a first receiver 26 and is sent forward by an outside spiral ribbon 3, and the fine solid matter sent by a water wheel 14A is sent to a second receiver 27 by forced feeding of water from a water feeding pipe 29 through a connecting tank 28 and is sent forward by a spiral ribbon 5A of the rotary cylindrical body 5 in the second receiver 27 and is scooped out by a water wheel 15 to discharge it to outside the receiver.
