Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require no maintenance for a long time by arranging a lubricant containing polymer member in a slider, supplying lubricant to a rail via a contact face with a guide rail, and reducing a contact area as against a projection area to the rail. SOLUTION: A side seal 10 is installed on an end cap 2B end face in each end of a slider, and a lubricant containing polymer member 11 is put between a reinforcing plate 20 and the side seal 10 so as to be installed between them. The polymer member 11, which is made of a substance prepared by adding paraffin group mineral oil serving as lubricant to polyethylene consisting of low molecular weight polyethylene and super high molecular weight polyethylene, is molded by means of an injection molding machine. In the polymer member 11, a ratio of a contact area with a guide rail 1 is set within the predetermined range smaller than that of a projection area to the rail 1. In this way, a temperature increasing area due to frictional heat with the rail 1 is reduced and a lubricant discharge ratio is lowered, so that lubricant can be continuously supplied for a long time. As a result, a maintenance free duration can be secured for a fixed period.
