Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure fusion and to acquire stable characteristics because spheroidal fusible alloy pellets are surely formed at the time of operating a temperature fuse by specifying a value of clearance between the fusible alloy pellet and the back face of a cover, and by specifying a value obtained by adding clearance between the fusible alloy pellet and one of case side plates to clearance between the fusible alloy pellet and the other of the case side plates. SOLUTION: One end of electrodes 2 and 2 on a bottom plate 1a of a case 1 are connected to a fusible alloy pellet 3 to be placed. The case 1 is charged with a fatty acid flux 5, and a cover 6 made is insulating material covers a connection between the flux 5 and a lead wire 4. In this case, a value obtained by adding clearance between the diametrical side of the fusible alloy pellet 3 and one side plate of the case 1 to clearance between the diametrical side of the fusible alloy pellet 3 and the other side plate of the case 1 is in the range of 0.2 to 1.0mm, and a value of clearance between the height of the fusible alloy pellet 3 and the back face of the cover 6 is in the range of 0.05 to 0.5mm. Since the spheroidal clearance can be surely formed in the case 1 when the fusible alloy pellet 3 is fused, the fusion can be ensured to stabilize characteristics.
