Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay of user connectivity by a seamless system by decreasing all destination addresses, handled by a server interconnected to individual clients, by the total number of peer addresses. SOLUTION: In hybrid environment 500, pure client servers and pure peer-to- peer options are integrated. In the hybrid environment 500, a client 502 transmits outgoing real-time data directly to a subset of destination peer clients, e.g. clients 504, 506, and 508. To transmit data to one of the remaining destinations, a server 510 is depended upon. This hybrid environment 500 gives each client a variety of communication options, so the client can dynamically select a proper balance of bandwidth and delay as to the outgoing data.
